North Creek and the Town of Johnsburg is a varied and rich Adirondack Summer Playground. Whitewater Rafting on the Upper Hudson River Gorge is frequently referred to as the “Best Single Day Rafting Trip In The East”. Granted Summer river levels are lower than the ice breaker Spring rafting trips, but warm water whitewater is soooooooo much nicer! And the minimum age drops for participants – with children as young as 8 able to enjoy the trip (check with specific outfitters).
