The arts are taking center stage in North Creek!
A new community-led initiative, the North Creek Arts District, Town of Johnsburg, is taking shape with support from the Town of Johnsburg and local arts, business, and nonprofit organizations.
The district will extend from Tannery Pond Center down Main Street toward the North Creek Depot Museum and Adirondack Glassblowing Studio, helping highlight the creativity, culture, and community spirit already thriving throughout the area.
Participating organizations include Adirondack Glassblowing Studio, Gem Radio Theater, kirche, H’ART Studio and Gallery, Our Town Theater Group, Mountain Pottery, the North Creek Mosaic Project, Tannery Pond Center, Wilson.Art99, and more.
To celebrate, the district’s first public event, North Creek Arts Fest, is planned for Saturday, August 8 along Main Street and in Riverfront Park.
The day will feature:
Artist booths, Live Music 
Performers
Food and beverages
Family arts activities
Demonstrations
Special exhibits at shops and cafés
The broader goal of the North Creek Arts District is to support local artists, businesses, nonprofits, residents, and visitors while strengthening the cultural and economic vitality of the Town of Johnsburg.
