3-D Mosaic Sculptures – Mushrooms and Turtles for your Garden
We’ll sculpt our own concrete turtle shapes and mushroom tops and stems, then cover them with mosaics! Make one or more… Offered for 6 classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (your project may only need 4-5 classes). Extra session in Aug.
When: 6-8:30, Tues/Wed, June 23, 24, 30, July 1, 7, 8 (Aug dates TBA),
Who: adults, and ages 10 and up
Fee:  $160, $300 for a team of 2

Linoleum Block Printing Workshop
with Diane Castle Babcock.  Reduction printing is a technique developed by Pablo Picasso. Rather than using a separate block for each color, Picasso used one piece of linoleum, which he carved and printed in stages to create a multi-color print.
In this hands-on workshop, Diane Castle Babcock will demonstrate and teach the reduction printing process. She will show how to transfer a drawing onto the block, use cutters safely, as well as illustrate color mixing and printing techniques. Diane has used this process to create her artwork for forty-five years. Students will create a three-color 4 x 6 inch linoleum block print with her guidance.
Diane will supply all the tools and materials necessary to create the print. Students should come to class with a 4 x 6” landscape drawing using three colors plus white in the design.
When: 10-1:30 pm, Sat. June 20
Who: adults, and teens 12 and up (Sign up early, Max. of 8 students)
Fee: $105, includes all materials and instruction

Multi-Age Art & Nature Camp –
Kids and adults together will explore soapstone carving, pastels, tiny boats (and boat races!), acrylic paintings and more! You’ll each choose a favorite nature theme, and create several artworks exploring that theme. Bring a bag lunch, and wear old clothes!
When: July 27-31, Mon – Fri, 10-2, Come to one day, or all
Who: all ages (under 8, bring your favorite adult), max: 12 students  Adult/child teams welcome, too!
Fee: $120pp, (or $35/day ), $205 for a team of 2 people

Saturday Arts! ~ Workshops for all ages
Join Kate to create small masterpieces… and go home with a finished piece of artwork. $25 per session, ($40 for a team of 2), materials provided. (Ages 8 and under, bring your favorite adult!) Continuing projects welcome, too.

NEW Jewelry Class ~ Silver Stamped Pendants and Charms!    with Marissa Perkins
Join us for fun beginner silversmithing workshop creating personalized sterling silver charms/pendants. You will learn to construct the charms using a mini torch and basic metalsmithing techniques. Then you’ll have the option to use stamps to texture or decorate your charms.  You will have an array of beads, shells, and metal to adorn your jewelry.  This is a great way to usher in the summer with a personalized charm bracelet, anklet, or necklace.
When: Sun, Aug 16, 11:30-2:30
Who: Adults and Teens
Fee: $105 per person~ Includes instruction, materials & silver

Ongoing…Open Studio ~ Mosaics and Needle Felting!
Create your own mosaic house numbers, tabletops, backsplashes, trays, coasters or stepping stones… or try needle felting!
When: Thurs. afternoons, 1-4 pm, Thurs evenings, 6:00-8:30 p.m.,  Join any time, come when you can!
Who:  Adults and Teens, beginner to intermediate
What to bring: just yourself, a snack and beverage
Fee: $20 per class, includes most materials, a variety of mosaic bases available, or bring your own!
