It’s Whitewater Season 2016 – Upper Hudson River!
Well winter could have been better, but now it’s whitewater season on the Upper Hudson River! Join us for the 59th Annual Whitewater Derby on May 7 & 8. The Whitewater Derby (same day as the Kentucky Derby, get it?) began in the Spring soon after the last of the log drives ended on the Upper Hudson River. That yearly Spring tradition (see a great timeline here), existed for over 100 years.
