It's a great time to explore the history of our region!

#firstwilderness #iloveny #adks #northcreek #visitgoreregionPictured below is the living room of what was once known as Foxlair, a private estate of perfume tycoon, Richard Hudnut in Bakers Mills. Hudnut called it Foxlair because he envisioned it being a haven for wildlife, but he wasn't completely trusting of the wildlife and so he created a brick and cement den that was fenced by iron bars. The 1200 acre estate had a golf course, teahouse, barns, a pigeon cote, and more!

My great grandfather’s brothers estate...was beautiful! I think he was trusting of animals as he had many, but yes he kept foxes in the basement.

We miss you all- hope everyone is doing ok. Things continue to change quickly, and this is a note to our season-long locker holders. Our Base Area is not accessible to public at this time, but we want you to know that our facility is secure. We will be back in touch when we have updates for you to retrieve your belongings- there is a link on our home page and we will post here as well. Thanks so much, and stay safe. ... See MoreSee Less

Thanks for this update. Will you be sending correspondence out to locker holders directly? We live out of state and did not clear out our locker before things shut down. 😞 Stay safe and well. And home. Please stay home.

We missed our spring skiing !! Take care see you next year

You should extend the lowest price season pass deadline. I am not getting March skiing this year.

Thanks for the information. Has there been any news about season passes for next year? Are they still on sale like usual? Any changes in the dates for price increases? Any discounts for lack of spring access? Thnx

Question... are you planning on extending the expiration date of unused one day passes to December 2020. That seems to be what most mountians are doing.

I know this is not important right now, but it would be nice if you allowed people who had unused tickets for this year to use them next year. We have a 4-pack that we didn't get to use (were saving them for spring), and now we won't get to use them. Am already looking forward to next season!

Will you be opening again this season?

We miss you too ! We cleaned out the locker Monday . I hope to get the same one back. See you for mountain biking.I hope.

What happens with people who bought a season pass and now we can't use them

Re-open please!

Hi Peter.

It was great! I was hoping to make it back 1 more time since you guys had the most snow.

Great grooming, great place and fun people all around (but at least 6ft away from each other)!

Not a bad year all in all - started mid November - EXCELLENT Grooming - thanks Ed Orr, Jeff Smith, Gary Flanaghan and the whole ski center and lodge staff!

I went there last Friday to get away from all the madness! Felt so good. Sorry to see the season end.

Bring it on next years prez day ..week !!!

Thanks for staying open today!!! Much appreciated⛷

Wow. That ended quick.

Lookin good in the March sunshine.

We had a great time there! The conditions were amazing. Thanks!

You are the best!
